We are happy to welcome two new clinic members:


Rachel Adams, Office Manager

Rachel joined the Jacksonville Family Speech Center team as our new office manager in July.  She has worked in the medical field for the past 2 ,1/2 years beginning as a surgery scheduler at Oregon Surgical Specialists.  She then moved on to Hematology Oncology as a Medical Secretary where she triaged for the nursing staff and did patient care.  Before moving into the medical field, she was a payroll administrator/bookkeeper for many small businesses around the valley.  Rachel was born and raised in Medford and lived in Portland for a short time to attend college. 
“ The best part of working in the service field is getting to experience the joys of patient care and meeting new people”.

AND...Jodie Dilansa  M.S.,OTR/L, Occupational Therapist

  “I completed my Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy at Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon in 2005. I have been working as an Occupational Therapist for 4 years in the Rogue Valley. I enjoyed an internship in the Beaverton School District prior to relocating to the Southern Oregon area. I am pleased to continue to expand my career into the pediatric setting. Working with children has always been my first love. I have a great interest in sensory processing disorders, especially with children on the Autism spectrum. “

 Speech/Language Pathologist, Deborah J. Luetkenhoelter, M.A./CCC-SLP

 has been a Speech/Language Pathologist for over 35 years.  She has worked in a variety of settings: medical, educational and in private practice.  She has recently returned to the Rogue Valley from upstate New York, where for the past 8 years, she worked as an educational consultant evaluating and setting up programs for children with Autism Spectrum Disorders and children with alternative communication needs.

During her previous 20 years in Oregon, Deborah had the opportunity to be part of 3 state-wide grants: TAAD (an assistive technology grant), SIPAAC (an alternative/augmentative communication grant) and an Autism 'TEACCH' grant.

Deborah has traveled throughout the Northwest, Alaska and the Northeast presenting inservices and providing trainings addressing behavioral and communication needs in the areas of autism and augmentative communication/assistive technology.

Her specialities are in the areas of functional communication disorders, behaviors as communication, autism spectrum disorders and needs of children and adults who are non-speaking or have limited speech.

Deborah received her B.S. in Speech Disorders at the University of Wisconsin and her M.A. in Communication Disorders at Seton Hall University, South Orange New Jersey.  Post graduate work has been extensive.  She is licensed by the State of New York, the State of Oregon and has her Certificate of Clinical Competency from the American Speech and Hearing Association.
